Query used in Pamela Rasmussen's Michigan State University summer studies course in Madagascar, 2008 (Zoology 490, Overseas Study in Zoology, upper division students). This query asks students to consider how communities of Malagasy primates partition resources to minimize competition? Are there differences in habitat use, activity period, diet, body size?
This query is appropriate for upper division evolution, ecology, zoology, mammalogy, or primatology courses. Or it can be modified to be used in other advanced zoology, evolution, or taxon-specific courses.
